Maintenance of the trumpet



Trumpet maintenance should always do the following four tasks.


1. Instrument after each use, drain the tube of saliva.


2. Use brass piston oil to oil the piston keys, 3 to 7 days to apply once.


Use petroleum jelly to oil the tuning tube to prevent rusting, once every half month to once a month.


3. The inside of the tube should be flushed and cleaned with water regularly to keep it clean and hygienic and reduce acid corrosion. It can be flushed once a month.


4. Wipe the water, sweat, oil, and dust on the surface of the instrument with a soft cloth regularly. To keep the surface of the instrument clean and shiny.
